Hot Chocolate
An easy go-to hot chocolate recipe for all those cold winter days.
This basic hot chocolate recipe is made with a few simple ingredients that you can enjoy as is or adjust depending on your preferences. Want it a little sweeter? Just add more maple syrup. More chocolate flavor? Throw in a few more chocolate chips. Make it vegan with a plant-based milk or more decadent with a full-fat milk. Cinnamon and cardamom add subtle warm spice.
Hot Chocolate
Serves 2
Ingredients:
2 cups milk (plant-based or regular)
3 tbsp dark chocolate
3 tbsp cocoa powder
1 tbsp maple syrup
1 tsp cinnamon
2-3 dashes cardamom
Instructions:
Add all ingredients to a small sauce pan and warm over medium-high heat, whisking continuously until incorporated.
